Hi friends —
Happy Saturday! I hope this week brought you something warm and good — whether it was a moment to slow down, a new recipe to try, or even just a quiet cup of coffee before the day got going. I personally had a *very* busy week after traveling last weekend, BUT…it was a great one, and I’m heading into the weekend with a really happy heart.
Here’s a little roundup of what went up this week, a few things I kept reaching for, and a bit of encouragement as we head into a new week.
This Week on Well Made
Here’s a look into what went live this week on the blog, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest — cozy enough to bake just because.
Blueberry Cinnamon Crunch Sourdough Cathead Biscuits
The favorite of the week (and understandably so)! Fluffy in the center with golden, crisp edges, these are bursting with blueberries and topped with a cinnamon crunch that bakes right into the tops. I’ve been pulling them from the oven and serving them warm with whipped salted vanilla bean butter and honey — and every time I think maybe I’ll freeze a few for later, they disappear by the end of the day.

Brown Butter Brookies for Two
A mix of brownie and cookie baked in two ramekins (or four small ones), with melty chocolate, crisp edges, and a gooey center. Truly, could you ask for anything more?! They turn into one of those desserts you just stand over the counter and eat warm with a spoon.

Giant Raspberry Lemon Poppyseed Morning Bun
This one was made for slow mornings. Buttery and soft, swirled with lemon poppyseed butter and juicy raspberries, then topped with a raspberry lemon glaze while it’s still warm. It’s the kind of thing that feels like a little celebration, even on a regular day. This with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning? You can count me in any day.

Brown Butter Caramelized Date & Banana Oatmeal Cookies
Caramelized dates and bananas have been having their MOMENT across social media recently, and I knew I had to hop on it. Chewy oats, warm caramelized banana, sticky-sweet dates, and pockets of melty chocolate — all in one cookie. These are soft in the middle, golden on the edges, and best served with a cold glass of milk. Trust me, it’s the oatmeal cookie recipe you didn’t know you needed until now. P.s. try adding the caramelized dates and bananas on top of a yogurt bowl with olive oil and sea salt — *chef’s kiss.*

Things I Loved This Week
Little joys, ingredients I used on repeat, and tools I couldn’t bake without:
The Cutest Vintage Glass Ice Cream Cups - what I served by Brown Butter Brookies for Two in! I’ve been using these for anything and everything that I can fit into them haha! They make any dish SO fun and beautiful <3
Flaky Sea Salt - I’m sure you guys know the drill by now; I add this on EVERYTHING. It is the flakiest of flaky and so darn good.
Our Place Always Pan - my favorite non-toxic pan to use for essentially anything on the stovetop; my set has lasted me forever!
Wooden Cooking & Baking Utensils - the one you see in every video while browning butter, they are my absolute favorite and are so versatile
Gold Utensils - I feel like these need no explanation since you see them in almost every single recipe of mine; they’re just the best and have lasted me years
My Current Devotional - my absolute favorite way to start the day, with the Lord. I’ve been really enjoying this devotional throughout this year so far, I take new things away from each every single day, and is such a beneficial way to grow my faith and strengthen my foundation
12” Cast Iron Skillet - my favorite skillet of all time! I use it for all things cookie skillets, crisps, and biscuits (I used it for the giant morning bun and biscuits from this weeks recipes)
Favorite Ingredient: Poppyseeds — for a little crunch and brightness in anything lemon
Favorite Bite: The first warm spoonful of that brookie, ice cream melting into the center. Heaven.
This Week in Real Life
Here’s what the week looked like behind the scenes:
A few insanely good recipe wins (and a few that may another round!)

Early morning walks and quiet time before baking
My FORM workouts — quick, sweaty, and SO good
A trip to New Jersey for a family wedding and time with loved ones
Peaches ripening on the counter while I dream up the next bake
Really good eats outside of work

A Note for the Week Ahead
One verse that’s been on my heart lately:
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22–23
If last week felt heavy or stretched thin, let this be your reminder: you don’t have to carry it all into the new one. His mercy is new with each sunrise. Take a breath. Start again.
Thank you for being here! Truly. I love sharing these bakes and little life moments with you, it brings me to most joy. See you next Saturday — same time, same cozy corner.
With love,
Kiley
